A standard course includes 4 – 6 hours of training and assessment. Contact us to organise dates. (Minimum of 2 people required) The training consists of face to face in a class room training with some practical activities outside. Please contact us for dates that will suit you.
This unit includes the theoretical and practical components of the unit TLID1001 Shift materials safely using manual handling methods. This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to shift loads safely using manual handling methods. Work must be carried out in compliance with the relevant work health and safety (WHS) regulations concerning the manual handling and movement of loads.
It includes assessing the risks associated with relocating the load, planning the relocation process and carrying out the relocation in accordance with the plan.
Anyone who needs a formal qualification in Manual Handling should apply.
There are no entry requirements for these courses.
TLID1001 Shift materials safely using manual handling methods
On successful completion of this course, participants will be issued a ‘Statement of Attainment’ certifying competence of the unit.
Manual handling face to face training is conducted at the LT Training Nambour facility. PCYC Youth Avenue, Nambour QLD 4560. Upon arrangement, training and courses can be conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients if the correct requirements are met.
LT Training do not offer RPL at this point in time.

All training aids and safety equipment are provided for use as required. Maximum student numbers exist depending on the facility.
