CERT IV TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT INDIVIDUAL UNITS TO KEEP UPDATED

We can only take enrolments for TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills at the moment.
No full TAE qualification enrolments or other units are accepted at this point in time
A standard course includes self-paced learning and face to face contact with the trainer at negotiated times when it suits both parties. Assignments need to be completed over a period of 2 – 3 weeks.
As soon as the RTO have scope for the new TAE40116 qualification we will be open for enrolments again.
The TAE Training Package was updated in April 2016, with the core units ‘Design and develop assessment tools’ and ‘Address adult language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills’ being added to the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. The core units of the Assessor Skill Set were updated to include the unit ‘Design and develop assessment tools’.
Q: I currently hold the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. What do I need to do to meet the new requirements?
A: In addition to holding the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, you will need to hold:
• Either one of the following:
- TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills
- TAELLN401A Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills
Plus, one of the following:
- TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools
- TAEASS502A Design and develop assessment tools
- TAEASS502B Design and develop assessment tools
Some trainers and assessors who hold the TAE40110 may have completed one or more of the relevant units as electives or as part of ongoing professional development. If you do not currently hold the relevant units, you will need to complete them before 1 April 2019 to meet the new requirements.
This course is delivered in accordance with a contractor arrangement with Mountainview Training Pty Ltd (RTO#32392). The certificate will be issued by Mountainview Training Pty Ltd.
Students must have sound workplace and LLN skills.
TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills
On successful completion of this course, participants will be issued a national accredited Statement of Attainment
The course is conducted at the PCYC Nambour, Youth Avenue, QLD.

Please bring your own laptop or internet device to be able to conduct research in the classroom. Students will be provided with electronic and hard copy study guides and assessments to assist learning. Additional to this you will be provided with electronic templates for future use in your own training. Maximum student numbers are eight depending on the facilities.
