How does it work?

The program allows you to choose a preferred registered training organisation such as LT Training that delivers nationally recognised, accredited training to meet their specific needs and national standards of the above qualifications. This program works in conjunction with the Commonwealth Australian Apprenticeships System, under which trainees enter a legally binding contract with their employer and receive structured training to achieve a Certificate II and III qualification.

How much will it cost?

The above qualifications are covered by User Choice funding which means the only cost the employers or student will incur is a tuition fee of $1.60 per nominal training hour.  Concession rates apply for students who hold a current Health Care Card or who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. School students are exempt from tuition fees. The tuition fee is compulsory for RTO’s.  LT Training will require payment for tuition fees as per negotiation with the employer or entity that will make payment.  Without funding the course is worth $4590 for Certificate II in Hortilcuture and $5,640 for Cert III in Parks and Gardens.
